WHO IS AL'S PIZZA?
Al’s Pizza is not your average pizzeria. Founded by Al Mansur in 1988, Al’s Pizza combines old world quality, values, and work ethic with new world ambiance and award-winning appeal. When immigrating to the United States in 1978, Al Mansur brought with him the traditions, passion for excellence, and commitment to quality that make Al’s Pizza what it is today.
After working in some of New York’s finest pizzerias for 10 years, Al opened his first location in Jacksonville, Florida. Refusing to use frozen dough, conveyor ovens, canned vegetables, or many other short cuts used by other restaurants, Al began setting the standard for his award-winning pizza. Today, Al’s Pizza continues to make fresh dough daily - sometimes twice daily - from scratch. Produce is delivered daily to ensure only the freshest ingredients. Al’s Pizza uses only one hundred percent whole milk mozzarella grated daily and nothing but fresh toppings, as Al knows there is not substitute for quality.
While quality, handmade pizza created in the classic New York tradition is the cornerstone of Al’s Pizza, the ambience of the restaurant adds to its appeal. Skilled artisans hand stretch and toss dough made from scratch, combine fresh, quality ingredients, and turns pies in a traditional brick over while customers enjoy a touch of fine dining combined with fair prices. Surrounded by natural stone, unique textures, and an overall showplace of interior design, customers know they are someplace special.
Setting the company apart is the addition of Bill Kratsas to the Al’s Pizza team in 2008. As a franchisee of McDonald’s Corporation since 1983, Bill understands and stresses the value of a strong relationship between franchisor and franchisee. His unique perspective emphasizes the fact that the franchisee is the company’s most important customer. By understanding the dynamics of franchising through the eyes of a franchisee, Bill is committed to supporting you, the franchisee, to help ensure your success and overall profitability.
More than just a business, Al’s Pizza is a business family. The management team considers franchisees and employees our extended family. Your success as a franchisee is our most important focus. In our family we look out for one another’s success and will do everything possible to ensure your success.
